Renew RTO & CRICOS Registration
Is your RTO or CRICOS registration going to expire soon? It is advised that at least 90 days before the expiration date as specified on the national register, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and CRICOS providers must submit a comprehensive application to renew their existing registrations.
Registration renewal is a necessary requirement by both The National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act of 2011 and the ESOS Act of 2000.
When Can You Apply For A Renewal?
Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) is attempting to match these dates at the time of renewals for providers whose RTO and CRICOS registration dates differ from one another. It is strongly advised that renewal applications for both RTO and CRICOS registrations be submitted at the same time, specifically, if there is not a large gap between the expiry date of registrations.
In case, an existing RTO fails to submit a complete renewal application for at least 90 days prior to the expiry date, their registration may not be renewed and will officially get expired. All renewal applications are lodged through ASQANet.
